~*A Taste Of My World*~

last week i went to a tramping trip to an island in newzealand called stewart island for four days it was an awesome trip!! very tiring but had loads of fun!

*first day*

- the bus was supposed to leave at 7:30 am , guess wht time my friend and i woke up??
7:30 !
good thing i woke up!! i looked at the watch with half opened eyes then screamed : shit! seven thirtyyyyyyy!!! lol it was funny how we jumped out of bed cramming stuff in our tramping packs washing up getting dressed so fast!! we've never gotten ready so fast in our lives =p
and yea i forgot my sleeping bag which was a pity coz it lookes sooo comfortable and i was longing to sleep in it

- we were so tired everyone slept in the bus and ofcourse sweet lil me started taking pics of them drifting off to dream land =p (yes its true i do have a folder full of pic of ppl sleeping =p)

- after a 5 hour trip by the bus we took a ferry to stewart island

- just relaxed and walked around and slept at the backpackers on our first night, oo and my friend braided my hair for the first time in my life =D

*second day*

- carried our tramping packs (which was larger than me) and started walking! we walked for five hours through the bush and were heading to hut called north arm hut (which was more than 15 km away from our starting point!) it was sooo tiring we had to go up hills and walk up stair tracks (my whole body was aching when we reached the hut) but it was so much fun we had a 10 mins break every half an hour + a lunch break + shoe lace breaks + water breaks =P

- as we walked we sang: everywhere we goooo ppl wana knoooow whooo we arrre wheeeere we come from soooo we tellll them we are foundation year mighty mighty foundation year and if they can't hear us we'll shout a little louder!

- when we reached the hut everyone started looking around for a bunk to sleep in we had to share the hut with ppl we dont know =P cooked dinner (it was the boys turn to cook) so guess wht we had for dinner? a bowl of not fully cooked macaroni with "water" sauce + a bowl of burnt macaroni also with "water" sauce

- guess wht we had as a toilet? long drop =D if you dont know what that means look it up coz am too disgusted to describe it to you

*third day*

- we tramped back the same path that we came from for another 5 hours (which means another 15 km walk)

- as soon as we reached the town we went to the supermarket and had ice cream =p

- we threw off our tramping packs and went off to the beach where i couldnt resist swinging on a rope then jump into the sea it was just too tempting =p and the water was frrrreeezing cold!

- we had dinner at an almost posh pizza restaurant i haven't been full in my life as much as i felt full that day after dinner, for the first time in my life i had a chocolate cake as a desert and not complete it! the thought of having more food made me wana puke =p

- made koreans sing along with me "mama zamanha gayya"

*fourth day*

- took a water taxi to another island called ulva island

- tramped some more but without the packs (thank god!!)

- watched native birds and stuff then did some fishing

- i ate something forgot what its called straight out from the sea =D yea it was raw =p

- went back to the backpackers packed our stuff then took the ferry back and then took the five hour bus trip back home

i really enjoyed myself wana go baaaaack =p
